G-force = 1.118 × 10−5 × r × N²
Cake weight = cake volume × bulk density

Where r is basket radius (cm) and N is rotational speed (rpm). Cake volume comes from the annular geometry defined by basket radius and cake thickness.

Engineering Notes & Assumptions

Bulk density of a centrifuged cake depends heavily on particle shape, size distribution, and how well the cake has been de-liquored. A value taken from a different batch or product can be misleading. Use a bulk density measured from an actual discharged cake wherever possible.
