How to Use
Run a small Büchner or Nutsche trial at a known vacuum/pressure, record filtrate volume against time, and enter the trial data along with filter area and slurry concentration. The tool fits the standard cake-filtration relationship to estimate specific cake resistance and expected flux.
Engineering Notes & Assumptions
Bench-scale trials don't always scale linearly to production filters. Cake compressibility, medium fouling, and pressure differences between bench and plant equipment can all shift the real result. Use this as a first-pass filterability screen, and confirm with a larger trial before committing to production filter sizing.
